Today, I'm announcing a little prize draw on my mailing list!

I'm asking a simple question, just a sort of poll really, rather than a right or wrong test... and in a week's time,  on Tuesday 26th March, I'll be randomly picking a winner from amongst the mailing list members who've responded. The prize will be a copy of THE ACCIDENTAL CALL GIRL, or an alternative title if the lucky winner has already got that one.

The question is:

Tall, dark and handsome... or gorgeous golden haired god? Which do you prefer? And if the entrants include why they prefer the type they prefer, and name a prime example, all the better!

Remember, this is a competition on the Mailing List... NOT here. I'm really trying to coax more people to join, so I can keep them up to date with my releases, and maybe offer exclusive excerpts and engage in a bit of debate on erotica and romance etc. :)

I'm featured at the Raven Blog today, with a Promo for Gothic Heat! This is a fun juxtaposition actually, as there's a Raven Nightclub in the book. It's pretty disreputable dive and nowhere near as classy as Michelle and Mandy's gaff though. The hero and heroine, Rafe and Paula first meet at the Raven... and sort of 'get to know' each other in the alley behind the club, if you get my drift! ;)

Two big events today... well, sort of...

Yes, as I mentioned yesterday, it's EROTIC ROMANCE WEEK at Bella Michelle's Romance: B[u]y the Book and today's guest blogger is little old me! Wittering on about this and that, as usual... Well, the title is 'Write About What You Know...' - which is very naughty of me because it *isn't* me answering that terrible chestnut of a question that all erotica authors get asked. No, it's more about writing sexy about everyday settings and people as opposed to exotic, made up stuff.

Bits and bats...

HOTBED is out too, in the UK, and imminently in the US... It says on the front it's 'an erotic romance', but to be honest, that's stretching a point. It's more like a woman's voyage of sexual discovery type story... and it's very, very rude! But... the heroine does get her man in the end, and something he says and does shows her that she's the one for him even if there's not a lot of hearts and flowers and stuff.

direction... sort of...

Bit of a breakout, yesterday, from this directionless lethargy I've been wallowing around in since before Easter. Himself got home early from work, and deposited himself in the living room, to catch a bit of telly. Not wanting to be unsocial, but not wanting to abandon the old lappie, I lugged it into the living room and plugged in there, to potter about a bit with it whilst keeping himself company... and managed to write rough outlines for two potential projects!

Don't get too excited... when I say rough, I mean fragmentary to the point of barely existing. But at least, it's started me thinking. At last. And there's something to build on... and something to show agent and editor... so they don't think I'm doing absolutely nothing! Even though I am doing almost nothing... ;)
