THE DEVIL INSIDE rides out again...
THE DEVIL INSIDE is out again today, with a brand new cover, republished as a 'Black Lace Classic'!
'Devil' is very much what I'd call an 'old school' Black Lace, more of a woman's journey of self discovery and sensuality than an erotic romance, although there is a hint of romance at the end, albeit unconventional. Mainly though, it's a slightly wacky sex romp, full of a bit of everything for Alexa, the heroine. Along the way she samples BDSM, F/F and menage, amongst other pleasures, and ends up in a three way relationship with Beatrice, a female doctor and her handsome male 'companion', Drew.
Here's the blurb:
Imagine waking up one morning with a dramatically increased libido and the gift of psychic sexual intuition. Imagine being able to read other people's sexual fantasies through the gift of extra-sensual perception.
This is exactly what happens to the usually conventional Alexa Lavelle after minor head injury whilst on holiday in the Caribbean. And in order to satisfy her strange and voluptuous new appetites, she is compelled to seek the company of exotic new friends and associates. Beginning with an encounter with the sophisticated and enigmatic doctor, Beatrice, and her gorgeously lusty 'companion' Drew, Alexa finds herself drawn rapidly into a world of bizarre eroticism and dark indulgence.
Faced with the ultimate test of her body, her mind and her senses, can the newly transformed Alexa confront the devil deep inside?

What's new with me...
First of all, many apologies for the very sporadic blogging. I'm getting more and more hopeless at keeping up with my blog in my old age...
So, what's been happening?
My main news is that I'm writing again for my most long standing and best loved publisher, Black Lace. Perhaps in the light of recent publishing developments [50 Shades, what else?] this iconic line of erotica for women and erotic romance is relaunching in September, and as well as writing something new for the line, I have a couple, thus far, of Black Lace Classic reprints scheduled. THE STRANGER will be out this September and THE DEVIL INSIDE, next September [the latter was going to be out in Jan '13, but that's been changed]. Black Lace will have a new cover 'look', which I know is going to be utterly fabulous and the cover image guy for THE STRANGER is absolutely scrumptious. Not quite as gorgeous as the wonderful Paul McGann, on whom my Paul was modelled, but definitely easy on the eye. I'll be revealing covers as soon as I receive the final versions. In the meantime here's a lovely piccie of *my* Paul... ;)

Yum! And he even wears the outfit too.
There's also another very exciting Black Lace 'thing' that I'm waiting for a few more details of before I start plugging it. Won't be too long though... definitely by August.
But it's not just reprints. I'm working on a new title, even as we speak. This one's called THE ACCIDENTAL CALL GIRL, and in it, as you might gather from the title, the heroine Lizzie Aitchison gets mistaken for an escort in the bar of a posh hotel, and decides to play a long with the misconception because the 'punter', one John Smith [yes, really] is an absolute dish. Initially only intending to play 'the game' for one delicious interlude, Lizzie, masquerading as 'Bettie', finds herself mesmerised by the handsome and dominant Mr Smith, and as he only seems to want a temporary companion, she continues with her masquerade as a high class hooker. For just the one very special and extremely kinky client.
Needless to say, I'm having enormous fun with this one, and have already written about 20K words so far.
I've also recently been working on an erotic romance novella called TEMPTED BY TWO. This one's a ménage a trois story, about Katie, who's taking a country holiday in order to reassess her life, and who becomes involved with famous and charismatic artist Marcus Dane, and his handsome manager, muse and lover, Owen. I'm hoping this story might be available in a couple of weeks or so.
There's a load of other stuff going on, but lastly, here are two important snippets of news for right now!
If you fancy a rather dotty but fun erotic horror story, free, gratis and for nothing, you can download WESLEY AND THE SEX ZOMBIES from a variety of outlets. There's a taster of it here, along with the links. For the moment, while Wesley is free at Amazon.com, I'm still waiting for it to go free at Amazon.co.uk, but I'm hoping that'll happen soon, and I'll post here, and tweet and Facebook it when it does!
Finally, if you're looking for some BDSM romance reading after you've finished the infamous Fifty Shades, my buddy Lucy Felthouse has assembled a hot half dozen titles, by various authors, that you might like to try. Check it out here:
Quite by chance... yeah right... my title IN SEBASTIAN'S HANDS is amongst the selections! ;)

Yesterday was a cool day!
Didn't do much in the way of writing, but lots of nice things happened! :)
First was my first post RWA lunch out with my buddy Saskia... and as always, it was totally brill!
[this is her at the Passionate Ink Party, but she looks just as stylish in Cafe Revive!]
We had a good long natter and enjoyed the opportunity to review and reflect on our experiences in San Francisco. The highlights, the tougher aspects such as jet lag, the people we met, and the value we think we got out of the trip. We both concluded that we got lots of the latter! We also compared notes on the projects we have ahead and how we're going to approach them...
When I parted from Saskia, promising we'd get together again soon, I moseyed on down to the local Waterstones and found 2 copies of Gothic Blue in stock. Now, in San Francisco, bolstered by Saskia urging me on, I'd signed some books in a Borders there, but I wasn't quite sure I could do the signing thing alone in a local shop. I circled the store two or three times, buying an AA mini guide to Washington in the process, but eventually, I plucked up courage to ask the man on the desk if he wanted me to sign my books. I'm glad to say he was really pleased and delighted, and I managed to adorn each copy with a fairly reasonable PDC autograph... and slip in a promotional postcard plugging IN TOO DEEP [which is out in the UK on 4th Sept, eeek agh!]
Speaking of IN TOO DEEP, some author copies of the same arrived yesterday too.
I must admit it looks absolutely fabboo 'in the flesh' and even more deliciously pink! Which pleases me no end, as pink is my favourite 'accent' colour. :)
I also received another foreign edition. A German version of THE DEVIL INSIDE.
The German title translates as "I see what you need"... which actually makes quite a lot of sense in respect of the plot! The eagle-eyed amongst you might notice an 'extra' piece of lace above the girl's right wrist... Although this is a fairly tasteful cover compared to some of my continental editions, there was a nip on show, and as I don't want to get want to get a government health warning on my blog for rude pictures, I thought I'd better be cautious and hide it. ;)
Oh, and to round off a pretty splendid day, in the evening I had a jolly good online chat with my other RWA travelling companion, Madelynne. This was another chinwag about writing projects and general juicy gossip... and the Z word was not uttered even once. ;)

Hey, I have ebooks I never knew about...

The Devil Inside is available as an ebook here and here, in several formats.

Entertaining Mr Stone is available here in a couple of formats, sadly not Adobe so far.
Designed for Sin is available here and here, in a variety of formats.I knew that theoretically these books could also appear in electronic formats, but nobody ever told me they were actually available... I found them via my mate, Madelynne Ellis who discovered ebooks of her own on sale.
Stop Press!
Gigi stopped by to let me know that my ebooks are also available at EbooksAboutEverything!
