Monitoring my progress

Here's a photo of Genghis Khat aka Kuffer, pictured with the high tech recording device that I use to log my Sweat70 progress.

Thankfully, I managed 2K words yesterday, and 1.5K so far today, so my lip is safe for the time being...

Well you did call him Kuffer, so you can't be surprised if he - well - kuffs you...

Fabulous progress! Kuffer is really giving you the threatening stare LOL

I may need you to send that cat over to my house to beat the catnip outta me...lol! Good luck with Sven!

Where did you get the word count tracker on the right side of your blog? That is really neat, and if you are up to sharing, I would love to get one for my blog too.

Your cat is adorable. But then, I have a thing for dangerous men.

XOXOXO
Dakota

dearest Portia, gosh, found you entirely accidentally so delighted to find this is the blog of an actual real proper writer, sigh. hope to pop back later but in the meantime I have voted for you as requested and hope you overtake Ruby Storm by next wednesday.

Well, at least Kuffer is doing something useful by holding you accountable. Nice progress!

Yeah, it does make a change for Kuffer to be useful rather than decorative... and bloodletting!

Dakota... I will email you with the addies of those counters.

Rilly, thanks for the votes, but I'm not actually a real proper author who uses metaphors and all that shit... I'm just a terrible old hack who got lucky. ;)

Thanks for visiting my blog today, and I appreciate your encouragement!

Wow, you are rockin' and rollin' on the Sweat Challenge -- congratulations! That's fabulous.

While I'm writing, my cats like to walk across my keyboard -- the words they type are quite mysterious, but I figure my kitties are trying to add to my word count! :)

Yay, Portia! You're doing great!

Way to go, Portia! Eh, that cat of yours is giving me the evil eye. I'm sure he'd be a great motivator, with or without Sven.

Oh heck, Portia. I think I need to get a picture of him next to my computer or something. One glance at his evilly slitted eyes, and I'll have this writing thing down, pat.

Yeah, Kuff does look particularly evil in that shot, doesn't he?

Normally, though, he's very soft and affectionate. :)

Oh, my, this would really crack me up--if I didn't know about your lip! Ouch! Great progress, though. I'd write like a maniac, too, if I had the Claws of Death threatening me! (Unfortunately, Middle Monster is allergic to kitties.)
