in the past couple of days I have been mainly...

  1. working on Techno Gothic Contemporary although I doubt if anybody will want it...
  2. doing some webby bits for lovely client Gwen Kirkwood...
  3. hurting my back - tweaked a muscle reaching for something in a funny way...
  4. hurting my shoulder and arm - could be computer use, could be part of back incident above...
  5. watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and feeling puzzled as to why I'm not enjoying it as much as I should...
  6. visiting this strangely compulsive, sick in places, mordantly funny and rather clever web site *- don't understand most of it, but bits of it made me much neededly laugh out loud...
  7. looking at a fruit cake selected by himself, at Tesco, for his personal consumption, and wondering if he would notice a missing slice or several...
  8. panicking about Christmas...
  9. avoiding quite a bit of reality...
* surf with care, much not worksafe and also v. v. gross!!!

sorry about the back and the shoulder... I had a literal pain in my a*** this week... wow those muscles sure hurt. I wish you better.

I wish you had never mentioned Tesco's finest espresso choc... I am hooked and it's like my dirty little secret because I do not want to share.

take it easy and have a good weekend

lotsa luv ann xxxx

I hope the back's better soon. I know a pair of excellent osteopaths, but they are based in London.

Hello you,

Sorry to hear you've been having some pains... as good an excuse as any for demanding a massage I reckon?

I've actually been working too, shocking eh?

Also... what did you use to design that book cover? I'm desperate for decent banners for my web site!!

Hi guys, thanks for the kind thoughts... I think my aches and pains are easing up now. Not quite so twingey today! :)

Hey, Ann... I sometimes get a 'pain in the *rse' too! Some years ago, I was helping someone move some equipment out of a lift, and the doors closed... right on my coccyx! So I have the dubious distinction of actually having dislocated my bottom!!! LOL!

Massage? Osteopathy? Umm... wonder if VDO has any massage skills? I'm sure his hands would make me feel better... tee hee...

Lucy, I mostly use Photoshop for graphicky things, but for this particular faux cover, I used quite an old version of Photoshop Elements... v2., I think... V. simple to do actually. It only took me a few minutes.
